Über H-Soz-u-Kult kam gestern die Mitteilung von der Gründung eines Arbeitskreises Geschichte der jüdischen Wohlfahrt in Deutschland am 3. Oktober dieses Jahres in den Räumen des Centrum Judaicum. Das Folgetreffen wird am 30. März kommenden Jahres stattfinden. Noch zögere ich ein wenig, ob ich mich dort anmelden soll, denn die Mannschaft besteht in hohem Maße aus Erziehungs- und Sozialwissenschaftlichern mit dem Schwerpunkt NS-Zeit. Zudem bin eigentlich schon in genügend Arbeitsgruppen eingebunden. Andererseits kann ich nicht leugnen, daß es so klingt, als sei das Thema dieses neuen Kreises fast genau auf mein Projekt zugeschnitten. Zwei Treffen pro Jahr müßten machbar sein, und zudem könnte in diesem Fall die interdisziplinäre Zusammensetzung auch Vorteile bringen. Ich werde der Sache wohl eine Chance geben und gucken, was da läuft. Ja, ich bin einfach viel zu neugierig !
